A hidden tremendous rainforest located two kilometers away from the Galle city. This was used to supply water to the Galle city during the British time. With a high altitude of the area, British officers decided to use the naturally made reservoir to supply water to Galle. The rain forest enriched with many endemic fauna and flora. The biodiversity of the site is very high. This is a hidden rainforest beautiful surroundings makes more tranquility. Spending few hours makes more relaxation. Cobra, Python, Sri Lankan wild pig, Viper are common can see. Not even that a very beautiful reservoir is a great place to feel the natural beauty of nature. Even next to the reservoir located National Water Supply tank which is still used to provide water to entire Galle city.
